1. About these terms

These Terms govern your access to and use of PaperNexa. PaperNexa is operated by Olasheinde Nosa Amode, a sole trader in England and Wales, with a correspondence address at 821 Old Kent Road, London, SE15 1NX, United Kingdom.

2. The service

PaperNexa provides tools for academic research, writing, referencing, project organisation and document creation, including features assisted by artificial intelligence.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account.

4. Academic responsibility and AI output

PaperNexa is an academic productivity tool. It does not guarantee that AI-generated or retrieved material is accurate, complete, original, suitable for assessment or correctly referenced.

You are responsible for reviewing, verifying and editing your work before relying on or submitting it. You must follow the academic integrity, assessment and AI-use policies of your institution.

You must not use PaperNexa to facilitate plagiarism, fraud, impersonation or other dishonest or unlawful conduct.

5. Subscriptions and payment

PaperNexa offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions may be billed monthly or yearly at the price shown before checkout.

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Unless cancelled, recurring subscriptions may renew automatically at the end of each billing period.

6. Cancellation

Paid subscriptions can be managed through the Stripe customer billing portal available from your PaperNexa account.

When cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period, paid access normally continues until that period ends.

7. Acceptable use

You must not misuse PaperNexa, bypass security or plan limits, access another person's account without permission, distribute malware, upload unlawful material or use the service in violation of applicable law.

8. Your content

You retain rights in content you lawfully own and submit. You grant us the permissions reasonably necessary to host, process, transmit and transform that content to provide the service.

9. Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee that PaperNexa will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, suspected abuse, non-payment, material breach or legal compliance.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply where you live.
